Ray is a native New Yorker whose love for the East Coast and looking for a slower paced lifestyle, moved to Old Orchard Beach 4 years ago. Heidi is a native of Portland Maine, has lived here most of her life. Alison, who is Heidi’s daughter, is our young apprentice Innkeeper.

     Together we have started an exciting and fulfilling chapter in our lives as Innkeepers. From greeting the guests upon arrival to chatting during breakfast, we enjoy getting to know you and helping you with any day trip planning you might need while staying at the Atlantic Birches Inn. We enjoy decorating the Inn with Antique Furnishings that Ray has collected and restored, including some pictures of Old Orchard Beach during the early 1900’s that gives you a little history on the Inn and Town of Old Orchard Beach.

     Open all rear round you will find us decorating for every season. In the spring, we are planting many flowers to brighten up our lawns and gardens that are enjoyed through out the summer. Through out the fall when the leaves are changing, you’ll find Pumpkins and Gourds, Ghosts and Jack O’Lanterns for Halloween, Cornucopias and Turkeys for Thanksgiving. Winter brings Christmas and a beautiful scene of lights and Holiday Cheer.

     As Innkeepers, we have met people from all over the world. From our repeat guests to the first time guests, we want everyone to have a comfortable and relaxing stay at the Atlantic Birches Inn. Maybe you will find our home has become your “home away from home.” Come visit us, our door is always open.
