Babb’s Bridge – Maine’s oldest covered bridge was built in 1843. Located off River Road, 2.5 miles north of South Windham, then ½ mile west between Gorham and Windham over the Presumpscot River. Burned in 1973, but since rebuilt.

Hemlock Bridge – Built in 1857. Located off Rt 302 3 miles northwest of East Fryeburg in the town of Fryeburg over an old channel of the Saco River. It is of Paddlesford truss construction with supporting laminated wooden arches.

Sunday River Bridge – Routes 2 & 26 Bethel his bridge, built in 1872, is named the Artist’s Bridge because of its reputation as being the most photographed and painted of the venerable covered bridges in Maine.
